On new matrix.org registration the captcha step gets stuck in a loop blocking the progress of registering a user. This happens with and without the email validation step. Attempting to login with the supplied registration credentials does not work either. Seems captcha is genuinely blocking.

As an aside, this captcha seems a little wonky comparatively, Have we looked at other captcha options? Or bagging captcha altogether in favor of email or mobile number validation?
