Ticket Gardening

This page contains information about how to deal with the issue tracker.

Defects

When there is a defect, the issue should remain until it is fixed in master, even if there is a PR

Enahncements

When there is an enhancement request, then when there is a PR that more or less fully is intended to address it, the issue should be clsoed. Users are therefore expected to look through PRs as well as issue to see if "new driver" is a dup.

Questions

Questions should be in Discussions or the mailinglist. Question issues that are stale will be closed.

Feedback

Users will be asked to test with git master if that hasn't happened in the last 90 days, or if there's reason to believe something is fixed.

Philosophy

This is an open source project and people reporting issues are expected to be active participants in solving the issue.
